The first museum for people in Thailand was originally “the Front Palace” or “Wang Na”. “Krom Borworn Wichai Chan” Tiwongkhot made the place in the Bowon Sathan Palace empty. “King Chulalongkorn” King Rama V therefore graciously pleased to move “Museum” at the Sahathai Samakhom Hall or “Hall of Concordia” in the Grand Palace. To exhibit at the Front Palace Bowon a sacred place, only in front of 3 figures called “Wang Na Museum”

Later in 1926, “King Prajadhipok”, King Rama VII graciously graciously granted all the monks in the Bowon Sathan Palace to be a museum for Bangkok. And changed the name to “Phranakhon National Museum” from 1934 until now

Thai retail card 30 baht, foreigner 200 baht, card including Thai people 60 baht, foreigner 350 baht *** Combination tickets can visit National Museum Phra Nakhon, National Museum The Royal Barge and Museum of the National Gallery, free admission to students in uniforms of monks, novices and religious priests.
