National Museum Bangkok

ห้องพระที่นั่งภิมุขมณเฑียร

National Museum Bangkok (Phranakorn) is located in the area of the “Boworn Sathan Mongkol Palace” or the “Front Palace” (Wang Na). It was built in 1887, around the same period as the Grand Palace. This palace served as a royal residence for five prince viceroys. The palace became available when King Rama V eliminated the position. The King, then, ordered to move the “Royal Museum” from Sala Sahathai Samakhom or the Concordia Hall in the Grand Palace to the area.
